This bagel sandwich is covers all food groups: protein, dairy, vegetables, and carbs, and its very easy and quick to make.
Ingredients:
1 everything bagel
Whipped cream cheese spread
2 tbsp basil pesto
A handful of baby butter lettuce greens
Several slices of smoked sliced deli turkey meat
Olive oil
Instructions:
Cut bagel in half, lightly toast
Drizzle 1 half with olive oil
Spread whipped cream cheese on one half and basil pesto on the other
Place turkey slices on top of the pesto and lettuce on top of the cream cheese
Put the sandwich together, cut in half, and serve!
